Culture Vulture (1.5)
Got beat out of my blogging time today, but I want you to think about this as I recompose myself. Imagine that I really like pizza, and that in thinking about pizza I came to you and I said this: There are 5 ways to think about Christ and Pizza --
[1] Christ against Pizza
[2] Christ of Pizza
[3] Christ above Pizza
[4] Christ and Pizza in Paradox
[5] Christ the Transformer of Pizza
Now, would you say that this paradigm actually helps us know something about Christ and about Pizza, or would you say that I have, whether I intended to or not, made something (at best) competative with Christ which is in no way equal to Christ -- or (at worst) elevated Pizza to an idolatrous place?
I'm asking.
